It’s only fitting a brown lady turn your attention to Nguzunguzu, Fatima Al Qadiri and Chicago producer J-Cush’s new project Future Brown. Their first single “Wanna Party” features that classic water-pipe ambient-jungle Fade to Mind sound with a hint of trap. Rising Chicago rapper Tink lends her baby soft vocals to the track with some cutting lyrics. Future collabs are set to include close compatriots Ian Isiah, Kelela and Maluca. Leaves me wondering if they’ll harness J-Cush’s juke and footwork energy more for future tracks.
