Mexico

Mexico

The trek through parts of Asia was beautiful and turbulent, so I had to take a vacation from my vacation to Tulum, Mexico. The region is catered more toward the hippy tourist than Cancun tropical party tourist. While here, I got to ride bikes through town, sleep in hammocks, worry only about getting a sunburn, swim in a bat cave with sea creatures, meet a kitten named Pantro and his dad Saeed, practice my spanish, eat the best Mayan cuisine on the outskirts of town near a home depot/topless bar/freeway exit, and teach a Twerkshop on the roof of a beach front villa to a post-wedding party of non-twerkers. The twerkshop was an attempt to psychically connect with Tonia, and I also somehow became a teacher throughout the evening on “loosening the pelvic cradle.” My travels are now at an end and I’m back in SF ready to root again and build up on all the amazing stuff that’s been happening for Browntourage. Footage from travels will be released as an avant-garde visual something-or-other so stay tuned!
