Segun in Santa Monica
My family and I just finished eating dinner in Santa Monica with family friends we haven’t seen in 15 years. As if that wasn’t emotional enough, on our walk back, our hearts got sucked into the emotional music of Segun.
Segun’s voice and passion got my whole family to stop walking and actively listen to him sing an entire Adele song (this is a big deal!). We found out Segun was from our hometown (Dallas, Texas) and is a sophomore at USC just trying to pay tuition. He had such a loving precious attitude. Inspired by how much he is already putting himself out there, I took it upon myself to attempt an impromptu interview with him as a way to promote Segun not only as a musical artist, but as someone who has nothing to be ashamed of.
