It’s all about the talent. Catchy dance-ready production, relevant flow patterns, beautiful singing voice, AND strong lyrics? Leikeli47 keeps it subversive in the club, calling out conformity while concealing her face in true protester fashion.

I first heard her song Miss America- an ode to authentic individuality, especially along gender lines. I’m very happy to hear that she has already worked with Bun B, Curt@!ns, and performed at Hot97 “Who’s Next” concert! Hopefully this marks a trend of diversifying roles and representations of women in mainstream music.

Here we present “Synonym,” the latest video off her EP The Flower Shop As Told By Brett Elway. Though the parking garage mayhem is reminiscent of Mercy, I’d rather watch these masked professional voguers any day.
