My first conceptual shoot. Check out Reya at the SF MOMA tonight if you’re in the bay. She’s performing in Rashaad Newsome’s “Shade Compositions,” and I’m so excited. His lecture at the Art Institute was a full overview of the birth and evolution of the piece, leaving us with how he will present it in SF with people of different racial backgrounds and gender performances.
